It’s good to be home.

Back in San Diego. It’s great to be back and catch up on everything going on. After Panama, we went up to Portland, Oregon for the Portland Brewers Festival to taste lots of great beer in 91 degree heat. The summer ales were the best for that climate, but I still had to have a few chocolate stouts.

What’s up next? I’m going to have to go with Wild Bill’s Mini Horse Parties, of course.

Viva Panama

It’s hot and humid here in Panama. We’re only 8 degrees above the equator. It’s flash rained, and baked us with sunshine today. So far we’ve seen Panama City from a rain forest hilltop, as well as roamed around it. There was a sloth at our hotel to greet us, and a gecko showed us our room. The spider monkeys sound like wild birds and the wild birds sound a whole lot like spider monkeys. We has the best Chinese food in town last night and ate delicious Italian food for lunch today. Later in the afternoon while walking back towards home, we sat in a grassy park, located in the middle of a major street and watched the Panama vs. Nicaruagua futbol game on a giant big-screen with fans dressed in red. All the while we sweated.

Bay area!

In San Francisco for Memorial weekend, such a pretty winter!
